RIFLE TRAP SHOOTING
For years Chief AJ has been trying to get a photo of one his clines actually breaking a clay trap bird in the air with a rifle bullet from the beloved 10/22. Jason Dye agreed to help the Chief get this photo. So, the Chief held the camera over Jason's right should as Jason shot at a flying clay going 55 mph away. Jason has been Scout Rifle trained and has shot trap with the Jeff Cooper old style forward mounted scope. In there photos Jason is using the new Catamount Package on His 10/22:
Photo One: Jason getting on target and you can see the orange bird.

Jason broke several birds with a single bullet form the .22 rifle before Chief AJ got this photo of pieces of clay in the air. This photo is large but you sure can see the broken bird.

After giving the Catamount Package a real workout Jason came to the conclusion that Chief AJ's new improved Scout Concept is better. The Chief knew he could count on Jason Dye to shoot straight. It was cold and windy but Jason is a no excuse shooter with His fine tuned tricked out 10/22. The Chief says: "Thanks Jason, now I have the photo I was seeking"!!! (Note: The pieces from this bird came down at 40 yards. This means that Jason hit a target flying on edge giving him only 3/4" to put a bullet into while the clay is gong away at 55 mph in a wind drifting it to the left and Jason is shooting off hand, standing on His hind legs like a man!)
Oh, the Chief did not haft to run the trap, Kenny did this to help get the photo!! Here's Kenny:
