This is a TRUE 4 year story of How it Came about that Glenn "Hard Shoot'en" Trame became a Pro-Staffer for Slingshots!
Back in 2008 Chief AJ started to developed a slingshot that be used for SURVIVAL and both HUNTING & FISHING.
Chief
AJ found that He needed at least 4" between the forks of a slingshot to shoot
hard. By 2009 www.slingshotsusa.com
worked with the Chief and came up with the Quick Point slingshot:

in 2009 Chief AJ made a "ANYTHING WILD" TV show shooting flushing Peasants out
of the Air with the QP slingshot. This show was seen in over 12.5 Million
Homes and now available on DVD.
After
this difficult shooting feat Chief AJ know that He had a HANDFULL of POWER!
The Chief went to near by Lake Shelbyville to see if He could shoot fish with
lead balls like He took pheasants with. Wadding in knee deep water the Chief
stunned a 5 foot gar only to have the big fish recover. AJ stunned the Gar 2
more times and could not recover the fish.
RIGHT THEN CHIEF AJ - REALIZED "SHOOT ARROWS OFF YOUR QP"
This started weeks of R&D testing arrow rest that would work with the QP. First the Chief used a bent coat hanger between the forks. That only worked for one shot. Next AJ went to a machine shop and came up with a working prototype that He took fish with and then the Chief's grandson JV shooting a hunting arrow took a Polynesian Pig in Hawaii.

these prototype Hunting & Fishing slingshots in Hawaii with Chris Stanley a
Hawaiian Hunting Guide. On camera with the prototype Christ took a large Feral
Hog which now has over 21,000 views on YOU TUBE!

2009 CHIEF AJ SENDS WORKING PROTOTYPE HUNTING & FISHING SLINGSHOT to www.slingshotsusa.com for refinement. Where Ray Priest employed a fancy Design Engineering Firm to come up with the ultimate HUNTING & FISHING SLINGSHOT the HFX.
RESULTS:
Machined out of solid aircraft aluminum with detachable fishing reel seat. Note
the spring-loaded fall away arrow rest. Such a fall away rest for a compound bow

Fresh Shooting Story from our Pro-Staffer: 4/22/2011 Boy they are spawninmg again. Shot prolly 50 fish today down at the river. Heading back out at 11 tonight to get some more. Tony made a surprise visit so I'm taking him to stick some fish with the hfx. Found out today that the 35 pound bands work great for bighead and giant carp. Shot 2bighead and 3 20 plus pound carp. Didn't have a scale. But going to go stick some more tonight with a scale with me.
