HUNTING & FISHING DREAM

Chief AJ likes to call the Holy Bible "Ancient Tribal Writings" and is a believer!

Back in 2008 Chief AJ kept dreaming and meditating about building up a Slingshot that could be used for both hunting and fishing.  Such a slingshot would haft to be able to shoot  balls, arrows with small game tips or big game points and the big heavy barded fishing arrows. Putting the "Dream" into a working model was expensive and hard work.  As a matter of fact he ruined a lot of slingshot frames, shot up a lot of ammo, broke large numbers of arrows and wore out many sets of tubes and bands.

2009 The Chief with early prototype of Hunting & Fishing Slingshot that worked well but the arrow rest had to be used separate, meaning that a person could lose the arrow rest while it was out of frame.

The Chief does a wise thing: He sends the Prototype to www.slingshotsusa.com

In turn Slingshots USA sent the prototype and concept to a design engineering firm in the Dallas, TX area. Out of this came the solid machined metal slingshot frame and the spring loaded fall away arrow rest. THE HFX (Hunting & Fishing Extreme) slingshot. The other requirement was to be able to attach a fishing reel seat to hold a Bowfishing type spinning reel.

Here's the answer: A solid metal machine reel seat that bolts into the frame of the HFX and allows the reel to be mounted in several postions. Also the reel seat is threaded to accept all bowfishing attachments:  Wow, HFX with reel seat, reel, camera and bright night shooting light.

NOW 2011 DREAM COME TRUE

The HFX can now be judged by what is has achieved:

Shooters told Chief AJ they wanted stronger bands, more power, so that is what the Chief came up with.

 Tubes that have a 40# pull with special pouch that holds a arrow in place with a loop so that you can shoot with a release yet this pouch will still shoot hunting balls.  With this set up the Chief AJ calls the HFX a Quick Bow and labels it so.
