HIGH PRIEST

The Hebrew Priest hood had become corrupt brokers of the Blessings Of God. If you wanted forgiveness of sin you had to pay the broker. You had to pay in Temple money. You had to pay to get your money changed into Temple money. When it was time to tithe again it really cost you through the religious broker. All payer must be in the Temple through the broker. The priesthood controlled the Temple, controlled the people and tried to control God. When JESUS came and found this corrupt system he cleansed the Temple twice.. The Temple was to be a place of payer and the priest hood had made it a den of robbers, robbing God’s own people.

Here is why the High Priest and the religious leaders got so mad at JESUS and Stephen. JESUS and Stephen brought the Blessing of God directly to the people with out charging. JESUS and Stephen brought the Blessing of God directly to people bypassing the Temple. The two were killed in order to keep the den of robbers in business.
