Since May 1, 2007 about 7 months ago Chief AJ has eaten at least 3 Caveman Muffins a day and now the results:

Chief AJ says: "How you are the very first thing when you wake up in the morning tells you how your health is. 

A smoker wakes up hacking.

A drinker wakes up with a hangover.

After eating right  and working out for the past 7 months serious I wake up with an erection,  feeling good.  My lungs can take in a deep breath. My arms feel pumped. My leg muscles ripple. My head is clear. Health is Wealth. I am getting ready for my 70th b-day on Christmas day 2007.

Here's why I have achieved this early morning bliss. I am not eating all the chemicals in ready to eat foods. I am baking up my own Vegetable Protein cake with no sugar and none of the junk that is feed to animals  today getting them ready for market.  I steam by green vegetables.  When I do eat flesh it is in small amounts and very well cooked. I do lots of bottled water each day for everything that happens in your body happens in water. That is Vision, Digestion ect. .

The Old Indian way was to let your body tell you how your are treating it. How do you feel first thing in the morning???

Now it is time after reading this update to find how I came across Caveman Cake". 

Other effects: I am now clipping by finger and toe nails every other day. 

The hair on my head is getting thicker.

Here's the story on how AJ developed a delivery system for Vegetable Protein to build lean muscle in the human body. 

Nutrition Now & Old Indian Ways .

 About 70 Year Old Native American Strong Man John “Chief AJ” Huffer     

     When an “Indian” found a new possible food source in the fields or woods they personally tested it out. They would eat a very small portion of the nut, berry, root or leaves and not take in any other food.  In this way if the possible food was poison to humans the Indian would soon know. If the new food gave energy and strength it was incorporated into their diet.

            Since the 1940’s AJ has applied this principle in training for strength and health.  During these years AJ trained on beef, fish and poultry as his main source of protein.  By experience AJ learned that these sources of protein had side effects.  Trying to get enough red meat to build muscle leads to constipation. Living in the Midwest it was hard to get good quality fish, and fish spoils quickly.  After of few meals of chicken the bird begins to taste like rubber.

            Seven years ago AJ began his personal experiment with vegetable protein.  He read lots of nutritional research on the value of vegetable protein but could not find information about a delivery system to feed muscle with this good protein. He wanted to know: how much vegetable protein is required to have energy and build lean muscle?

Would he have to eat a field of red clover or a silo of soybeans?  What vegetable protein food would be convenient for an active lifestyle? 

            AJ found lots of written research but no information of practical application on how to build strength and lean muscle on vegetable protein.  Then the advantage of vegetable protein became clear to AJ in that it can be make into flour.  Here was the delivery system to get the quality protein to muscle: through baked goods.

            At the time AJ was in training for the Caveman Classic Physique Event, Grand Master Division to be held in Merrimac Caverns, a large cave in central Missouri . AJ began baking up homemade, high protein vegetable breads and cakes.  This bread was personally tested in the old “Indian” way and AJ found he had great energy and was building lean muscle at age 65.  Eureka ! AJ found the delivery system and the cakes could be carried around to the gym and eaten at any time. 

            BIG PROBLEM: AJ’s homemade cakes tasted awful. He forced himself to eat the “Caveman Cakes” because of the good results he was getting.  AJ had other people try his “Caveman Cakes,” which they promptly spit it out because of the horrible taste. (Despite the bad taste, AJ went to win a 5 foot high trophy in the Physique Event)

            SOLUTION: Five years later Chief AJ began intense R & D on the delivery system of baked good to get Vegetable Protein into the human system with good taste. Now Chief AJ has achieved a great taste and even more nutrition.
